Even when they miss my calls, they will reply with a SMS and call me back. The carpenters are professional and resourceful as well! Some unforeseen issues occurred on-site and they are able to come up with creative solutions that did not compromise on the quality. I believe the responsiveness of a company is the most important. Be it meeting milestones in the timeline or even as simple as replying a call. A renovation schedule is often very hectic. If any party misses any important milestones, the whole project will be delayed. One thing I look out for is always the team in the firm. In my case, the head carpenter has been with the firm for more than 10 years. This speaks volume of the company’s philosophy and dedication when the staff retention is high.”

“We engaged Palmwood for the renovation of our kitchen and a bedroom, as well as to repaint the walls and polish the floors after out tenant moved out of out Orchard Rd penthouse. Firstly, Vincent helped us to identify the concepts, design and colours we wanted. Then he and his team constructed and fitted everything in – completing the work from A to Z. For the bedroom, in particular, there was a built in ledge that made it difficult to fit in the furniture that we wanted. Palmwood designed and constructed two built in beds, with ample storage space. The bedroom not only looks beautiful, but it is very practical. The same with the kitchen – it is both highly functional and aesthetically nice. Palmwood also pays great attention to detail, as was evidenced with the painting and polishing work.
